Contest Rules:
1) Must be a United States or Canadian resident to be eligable for the 3 main prizes listed in the video. If you live in a country outside the U.S. or Canada, please feel free to submit a video and if we think it's the best of all the non U.S. and Canadian videos, we'll send you something from us.

2) No handling of venomous snakes on film. (See safety section for more)

3) Upload a video (to your channel) under 3 minutes in length.

4)Title the video: "Smetlogik Contest".

5) In the video, tell us what state (or country if outside the U.S.) you live in.

6) In the video, explain why your favorite place to herp or just get out in nature is one of the best in the world to you. Be convincing and creative in your video.

7) Once you've uploaded the video to your channel. Comment on this video with the words "My entry" and copy/paste a link to your video next to the comment.

8) Winners will be chosen by Nicholas, Rob and Rob's wife. If it's close, we'll have our dog choose the tie breaker.

9) The 1st place winner will choose which of the 3 prizes they want. The 2nd place winner will choose between the 2 remaining prizes. The 3rd place winner gets the remaining prize. But? They're all so cool, it doesn't really matter.

10) You must provide a valid mailing address and name in order to receive your prize.

12) Deadline to submit your comment and video link on this video is: Aug 3rd, 2016 at midnight EST.

SAFETY:

EXAMPLE of what your video might contain: I live in a big city here in Colorado, but 10 minutes from my house is an open space with a few ponds and wetland areas. You can hear the roar of traffic from a nearby interstate as you walk along the grassy trails. The normal person wouldn't have a clue that we've found fireflies, snapping turtles, huge carp, beavers, chorus frogs, two kinds of garter snakes, bullsnakes, racers, bats, painted turtles, foxes, owls, swallows, muskrats, herons, deer and coyotes. I think it's pretty cool that there is so much wildlife in a urban area like this. My spot is cool because it's surrounded by interstates and big buildings. Plus. there are man-made forts along the trails in case it rains. If you came to my big city, I could show you all kinds of critters you probably wouldn't believe lived so close to a big city like mine. It's a special place to us because we can always find some type of animal when we walk out there.
